A sperm that is immature or has abnormalities in its head or tail is an abnormal sperm. At the same time as all men have some abnormal sperm, a sample that contains no more than 25 percent abnormal sperm is regarded as normal.

With no information about men’s sperm count and motility, doctors can’t say what group they fall into. Even with their low percentage of normal forms, fertility is not impossible, and there are many medical and behavioral practices a pair can implement to boost their chances of conception.
